Faith is looking a bit more sprightly nowadays, compared to when I last took a photo of her... has she been on a diet?! :PDT_Xtremez_30:

That indeed is/was the Bielefeld viaduct before and after modification. That and the various other photographs showing applications of Air Power like the Mohne Dam and Cologne, in my opinion are the best of photo's.

I have a couple of very unofficial pictures of the Dams (I ain't got a clue which one), taken by what I suspect was a civilian. My cousin brought them back later in the war (according to family rumour).

If they are broken, then it's either the Mohne or the Eder.

The Dams

The Dams

Pictures of the Dam. I do not know which one.

Mohne - has two towers and only one row of sluice gates. Eder had one tower and a second row of sluice gates lower down. /geekout!

Yes - and the far tower used to have a 617Sqn zap on the western inner roof...

Back in 1981 the near tower had a Brass Plaque celebrating the Dam's construction, above it was a 2nd Plaque celebrating it's reconstruction. In Black thick marker between the two was scrawled '617 woz 'ere'. With my own eyes I saw it.

Nice photo's Ex Bay, the leaky one must have been taken on the following day or so.
