TheHogwartsBEngO, Don't try pulling rank on this one - it won't work.

who said I was pulling rank. I just have a superior argument.

Not listening, not listening - LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA

BISCUIT

to all the poor unfortunate souls who belive they are bisciuts...

to all the poor unfortunate souls who belive they are bisciuts...

so if HM gov agrees with you- will you pay extra for Jaffa CAKES (!!!!) when the tax on them increases?

CAKES!!!!

When stale a cake goes hard and a biscuit goes soft, heard this on some cooking show on telly and filed it away knowing that it would come in handy one day.

Best biscuits I've ever had are the ones 'liberated' from the aircrews rations in the SLOC. Try it, but if you decide to go down this route make sure you grab enough to go round the lads.

Like I say, you can't beat a custard cream or three that have come in a box load of bickies liberated from a returning VC10

Generally speaking tho, the riggers would have nicked all the decent biscuits leaving only 'shorties' and 'nice'. :PDT_Xtremez_25:

now, it would only seem fair to Leave some custard creams, bourbons, jammy dodgers and chocolate hob-nobs for JEngO, FS, Rects Controller...

To quicky re-start this thread (and I'm not on a McVities Commission), the in-laws donated a box of Ltd Edition White-Chocolate Coated Digestives when I visited this weekend.

Fantastic. delicious with a nice hot cuppa. I hope Mr McVitie decides to make these a permanent part of the product range.

Sounds nice..............................do you think it could be a stepping stone to a white chocolate hob nob?

White chocolate!, White chocolate! Are you mad, the only colour for adult chocolate is brown! Only children and limp wristed, liberal, panty waisters eat white chocolate! Good god what is Britian coming to!

That's it after weeks of research and excessive amounts of personal testing. I will finally land on the side of the CAKE

www.jafferygoodness.com

Perhaps the poll can go from "performance related pay" to the more burning topic of Orange and Chocolate based delicacies and their VAT status.

When the Krays Killed Jack "The Hat" McVitie, it was not down to a gangland feud, it was because he taunted them that he could bake a better biscuit

A Jaffa Cake is a popular type of snack sold under a number of different brands, the market leader being McVitie's (United Biscuits). In the United Kingdom, Jaffa Cakes are classed as cakes for the purposes of taxation, but due to their size and high number per packaging, shops generally stock them within the biscuit section. The name is derived from Jaffa oranges.-

taken from the on-line enyclopidia wypedia

so it is offically a cake, but pretends to be a biscuit!!
:PDT_Xtremez_15: hey you could do a really cool science thesis on this- if they're left in the box, unopened they could be both a cake and a biscuit at the same time- quantum physics stuff shodiners cat style of things :PDT_Xtremez_26:

i can't believe that on this whole thread no-one as mentioned the BEST bisciut ever- the might oreo!!

Surely Schrodingers cat would lick the orangey bit of the top if you left the box unopened?
And if the cat did that they'd still be cakes because there'd be no jaffa... case proven by quantum physics ...:PDT_Xtremez_26:

Good one kit..

exept the quantum thing would only work if the box was shut- otherwise the result would change by observing it, so the cat would eat the oragy bit beacuse you couldn't fit a cat AND jaffa cakes in the box at the same time!

Do cats like oranges?:PDT_Xtremez_34:
