how did you go about it mate??
Renton
you don't have time to write on here, you need to be getting some fizz in lol. The recall procedure is via your HR who will contact HQ Air who will return it.

ok heres the deal....
ive spoke to my act snec today who has been told by the army chief clerk who has been in touch with the sjar clerk at our parent unit (bzn) that as it has been finalised there is no way of calling it back??
can anyone help me out here because as it stands im probably fooked for getting promoted for 3 years due to this!!
apparently the 2nd ro really wants to change it but he has been told it cant get called back so its tough!!
If the 2RO really wants to change it, has he got involved and requested that it be returned? I think it's gone passed your level now Renton and you need to engage with your line management to get them involved in this. He should speak to the RAF Chf Clk at Bzn, whom I know has contacts at Manning, and try doing it that way. Whilst 'they' may say you cannot get it back, it is possible just takes a bit of will from the right people.
the problem is my line management are not pushing it and i feel as though ive got to do it myself.
from what i can gather the army chf clerk has contacted the sjar clerk at brize who has told him that it cant be called back??
so they are taking that as gospel.
would it look bad if i contacted the wo psf at bzn myself to try and sort it??
If your LM are not pushing it are they just paying you lip service? Request an interview with your 2RO and advise him that you know it can be done but that you need him involved now as you have exhausted all avenues at your level. If he refuses or is reticent then he is purely trying to appease you and is unlikley to change it much anyway.
If you do decide to go it alone with Bzn speak with the SNEK first as it will probably come down to him to sort anyway and the FS is away at the moment I believe. TBH though if you're going at this one alone then my gut feeling is that you won't succeed.
i cant remember off hand but it was something along the lines of ....
sac ....... needs to up his competitive drive to compete against his peers???
however the 1st ro wrote..........
sac ........ is the cornerstone of the raf section??
does that contradict each other or am i looking at it wrong??
bearing in mind this year i have.......
volunteered for an ooa(no one else has)
done education (no one else has)
helped out at my local primary school setting up for sports day/fete etc( no one else has)
organized mtb expeds for my local mountain biking club(no one else has)
the problem is i dont live on camp as i commute in everyday from where i live so im not seen around camp much.
another thing is that i feel as though i dont really fit in here!! i came from quite a busy unit to here and its just to slow and im quite vocal in saying that i think its crap and im bored, whereas the other lads , no disrespect to them are quite happy with the way of life here.
As long as all the good stuff is in there about Education, School, exped then I certainly don't think it's going to set you back too much. Perhaps you should be asking him what he means by this comment and how he would like you to up your competitive edge?
It's very difficult when you're somewhere that you are unhappy with and you need to strike the balance between trying to make life easier for yourself & your colleagues and being seen as a whinger. If you are the only one prepared to take on the CoC about the issues that you all have pehaps it's time you just put your head down and let someone else take up that mantle. Concentrate on all the good things that you are doing there and tow the party line for a while to see if anyone else is prepared to speak up. I know it will be difficult but look after No 1 from now on and be like they want you to be like and maybe you'll be out of there before too long.
