i'm wrong but there was a TG4 road show back in 2003 laying everything out and what was and could happen, so far all of it has come true.

Correct but they never said we wouldn't be offered redundancy to allow the trade to reduce to the projected figures.

Why didn`t they just go for a new trade called TG4 and say it`s for customer support. Anyone who wants to can remuster to it from any trade provided the can pass an aptitude test an there you go. Problem solved. I`m sure there are Scuffers and stackers etc out there who would love to change and have the ability. And us real gods (lets not forget AD Anno Domini means the year of the lord) could do both. Speaking of stackers can I go down supply and sign out a career for a while, now I don`t have one of my own ??? DT_Xtremez_32:

It would be dealt with exactly the same as civvy street, but they are just going to run time down on your career, that is the option as far as i can see, we are going off topic but there you go. It is all getting really boring now, i hate it when people in my place say it but it seems the option that they are choosing, "put up or there is the door!"

I remember seeing a thread recently stating that TG4 could (possibly) be the biggest whingers we have. I've now noticed that no TG4 person on here seems to have the gumption to FIGHT BACK!

You have a point PingDit but this goes to the heart of Britain today and its attitudes which is deeper than just TG4 promotion. We are so used to getting shafted by our Lords and Masters from the Government down that we have all become apathetic. Anyway I have my 22 yrs and a guaranteed job. Better than being unemployed. And after that I wont be staying in the UK. Apathetic yes. Long term plan....definately. Leave the Cr@ppy UK behind eventually.

I fully understand why you're going to be doing that as well. It's a very sad state of affairs indeed. I lay the blame squarely at the feet of government. Their nancy do-gooder attitude to imigrants, unruly youth and their own dishonesty makes my blood boil. Sadly, in the same way that American middle class are now moving away from the city centres into the countryside to get away from the lawlessness, this country has already started to follow suit. Natural progression then takes us to a country where we feel more comfortable. Sad. Is it too late for our politicians to get some balls and put a stop to the PC brigade?
