Jimmy Savillie does a Sea gull.. "Mine!" LOL

Newcastle are crap.. So are Sunderland.. North East Losers!!:PDT_Xtremez_30:

Stevenage were not the only team from the old County which p!ssed all over the North East...Watford stuffed the Monkey Hangers 4-1 as well. Plus the Smoggies got beat by Burton!!!

MWD, can't say fairer than that. However, did Brucie play a weakened team?

Technically he did, however those "squad" men who came in included an Argentinian and 2 Paraguayan internationals. With Gyan & Bent up front, it should have still been enough to brush aside a club 54 places below us in the footballing pyramid. However it seems that these South Americans just dont have the fire in their bellies when it comes to getting stuck in against a lower league side in January.

Brucie learned a lot about his squad men yesterday, and I would expect to see a couple of them leaving the club in the not-too-distant future.

I think a few teams came unstuck this weekend by playing what they thought should have been a strong enough team. Just glad Fergie played a strong team today against LFC.

Bruce made 7 changes from the team that beat Aston Villa at Vanilla Park including recalling two loanees (Andy Reid and Jack Colback) and also played two South American defenders that he is trying to get rid of in this transfer window. He was saying in Friday’s press conference that he has never had a cup run as a manager, is it any wonder when he keeps picking the wrong team, he did this same to us in this season’s League Cup. He is blaming the players but he’ the bloody manager, if he can’t get the team selection right then it’s his fault IMHO. If we loose against the Toon on Sunday, it’s not a new contract the Board are offering him - they should be giving him his P45!
