Firstly Happy Birthday to those of you to be born on this day whatever year.

As for me Started at silly oclock 0430 involved a 250 mile drive. Hope everyone has has a safe and prosperous day.

By taking the morning off work while the plumber fixes my power shower in my rented accomodation in Farnborough!

Off Topic Lucky you - Are you one of those people that work at that strange BAE place and are if you are in sssa there are you really entitled as there is so much service accom nearby even Odi.

Good to see that the higher pay band hasn't affected the excellent service provided by the shineys in any way.
Summoned to collect paperwork by stroppy Cpl at 1500, arrived at SHQ at 1535, PSF closed at 1530.
What a result.

A shining example to us all. Why they weren't elevated years ago I'll never understand.

Hey some of us actually work till 5, even on a Friday!!!! Mind you I dont work in SHQ...................

I think the wife enjoyed her April 1st. She had a lift into work as usual with the Chief Clerk. Then when she came home I saw her reversing her new SLK Cabriolet into the drive. She struts in and tosses the keys to me and says 'be a good, lower payband stacker and put the car away.' It seems the Cheif Clerk has donated his current car to the paperboy to do his deliveries, his Bugatti Veyron is on order as we speak.

When I asked her if we could afford it. She said, 'we? we?', 'I think you'll find I can afford it. Look at my wad, I've got loads of money'

Sssshhhhh ! Don't tell her, but the only good thing to come out of it for me, is that my golf club membership is coming out of her account..LOL.

I think you'll be cooking your own tea tonight DNR as Mrs DNR & the Chf Clk are off on a World Wide Cruise; don't expect us back anytime soon!!:PDT_Xtremez_14:

Yeah of course you're all HR Managers. If that were true why is it that HR departments are stuffed full of admin assistants (or clerks to use the old fashioned term) on considerably less than that (like half or less)?:PDT_Xtremez_32:
