Come on guys, give your Trade Sponser a swift kick up the 'arris.

If the Admin Clerks/Secretaries/Cashiers Assistants/JPA Jobbies can get a move to the Higher Pay Band, then it should be a doddle for you guys!

We had the JSET at Brize yesterday for the eval.
Initial reports are good for a few ranks. We'll find out for definate in December.

Personally doesn't effect me too much, as my pension will remain the same in 2 years, but still gave it my all on my part of the presentation of the fuelly world.

I wouldn't have said it was deserved a few years ago, but since slop jockeys/slammers/feds/rocks and now shinies have got it, why the hell not?

Apparently they were extremely impressed and saw exactly what they wanted. Well done to everyone who presented us. If we don't this year then there is no hope !
 
Fingers crossed for a favourable outcome, well done to the Ding Dongs for a good show. A nice 3.5K pay rise wouldn't go a miss.

I don’t want to throw a spanner in the works here, but have we not heard this before? I know when the Squippers got up’d they were more or less told on the last day of the review, has anyone had this tip-off?
I agree it does sound better than previous attempts however, not ordering the new FORD Ka just yet…

Anyway, just a thought…

This is what the wobbly said on the day of the JSJET visit, after he had a talk to them, but we won't know for definite till December.

here's hoping then it will give certain people even more reason to moan and as previously stated the door slammers/food blanders/missile monkeys/rent-a-cops have all got it so maybe just maybe this time...

Sorry Fellahs, but Albert is right. The whole concept boils down to how hard the individuals being interviewed put into their paperwork and interviews. I worked damn hard on mine, is it enough? Hope so, but we won't know for a while yet, fingers crossed.

Stax, did you work on this one or are you referring to a previous review? If so, did they give any indication at all?
 
So whats the thoughts on the streets? Cpl get it, Sgt won't, or Vice versa.
My guess is Cpl's will, Sgt's will, us FS's won't, Wobblies stay as they are! Thus making our excellant JNCOs take the promotion worth their while?
 
Could be like the Scribblies and give it to Cpl/Sgt/FS and miss out the SAC's making them work a bit harder for that letter and the pay jump that would come with it...


or then again they could go with Sgt/FS and shaft the Cpl's as well as the SAC's...


or then again they might just say NO (again)...


early reports from the Trade Sponsor are good and a collective well done to the lads & lasses from TSW and not forgetting the input by all involved at Brize, decision to be made at the end of Nov so I've been led to believe...
 
In all honesty I would just like our trade to be recognised for its diversity.

Even if my rank is not included, and I do mean that, I'll be chuffed for the trade.

The pessimist in me say's NO but I hope I'm wrong.

Nice one Janto totally agree, I think we have all had enough of being just Stackers and just want to be recognised for our work on Ops etc etc in this new world we all live and work in!

Personally, I feel Ops is just one aspect of it. There is a lot of Storemen/women/people (that should cover me against those PC Mob) out there that have an abundance of Q-Sup quals that can be employed almost anywhere in the MOBs they represent at the drop of a hat.

It'll be interesting to hear the outcome........I'll await the drum roll with bated breath.
 
Finally going to throw my spanner in, for what reasons do pers admin, cooks and stackers need the higher pay band?
Isn't it for the skilled techie trades who do a little more than shuffle paper, spoil food and move boxes.
Any answers please......................
