Found out about the Goat while on det in sunny Kent a couple of years ago, during the run up to JPA, in an email from someone in the JPA implementaion team.

Well! The hard ones first hey!
I found the goat - before it found me - while doing what was known as internet research into my duties - i.e. it was lunchtime and I'd just accessed the BBC News. Took a look, wet my shreds laughing at some of the posts, and realised I'd found my intellectual comfort blanket. It is the best thing on the internet - usually.:cool:

E-goat is something I've known about for years, and is what I log on to especially overseas (Which is more and more these days). I was passed on the details from colleagues i've worked with in the past, and enjoy reading the whinging and moaning from fellow RAF drones.

I heard about it from a civvy at my workplace. After crying with laughter at some of the threads and strongly agreeing with others, I joined up.
 
I got given the link via a member of the MoD Oracle forums as I expressed my career aspirations to join the RAF...
