Hi out there.

Found the E-Goat when campaigning on the 36 Grays Lane Ashtead website. I noted the Army, RN & RM sites but didn't see an RAF one, then one day the icon popped up. Great site. Glad I found my 'second home.'

A young SAC was on line at work when he should have been grafting, so I guided him back to work and had a look myself.
 
When the Trade Sponsor put out a paper saying that the 'rumours on e-goat are exactly that'

Still not too sure who's right
 
Not fully satisfied with the "ultra-positive" presentation on the RAF Careers site, I started searching the net for someplace where I could find real RAF members who could let me in on the real deal.

I logged onto a few other forums, with little success. Then someone on that other "rumor" site sent me a secret message with a link to here... they said something about some kind of "rivalry" or "animosity" between that forum and this one?

Regardless, that forum was really small compared to this one, and they seemed more interested in silliness than helping me out...

But it's all in good fun, and neither here nor there really...

... no wait... looks like it's HERE, and NOT THERE... How about that, eh?

So I've been a member of this forum for less than a day and I've already received some very helpful responses to my questions.

Joining the RAF from overseas in Canada is likely going to be a process that takes a year or so at best... but this forum seems to be rather well put-together, and knowledgeable. Expect me to stick around in the mean time. I'll probably have more questions down the road.
