- the point made earlier, albeit maybe not as succintly as it should have been, is that when something COMPLEX is being taught, one doesn't, normally, get full value from an instructor until well into the 2nd year. I should be curious to know if you instructed on JATCC? If you did - how long was it before you could say you were an 'expert'?Having seen both sides of the instructor’s world, albeit from different angles I believe that the instructor’s lifespan should be capped at 3years
