Fcuking wonderful - JPA has discharged me! Wouldn't mind if the date was Jan 2020 but its not and its 13 years too early!

::/:

I'm technically a civvie (at least according to Just Plain Awful)! Pay has been confirmed as ceasing on 12 Jan 07.

Will someone now tell me JPA is a system that works...

I'm now loading my pen for action - time for an administrative offensive

Yours in disgust

Sickbag

ps What do I tell Mrs Sickbag?

Don't turn up for work this morning, I'm sure they will come and find you. Alternatively, when they knock on the door tell them to Burger off, your discharged!

Still might get better when EDS move all the JPAC jobs to Bangalore!

Makes me glad to still be in!

Whats your secret, how did you manage it, share this knowledge with the rest of the goat, most want to leave and the earlier the better!

I'm not a shiney, however i have been trying to put leave in past my old Termination Date (signed on till LOS 30), and guess what I can't :PDT_Xtremez_35:

However I am now concerned, as if I can't put leave in past the end of Feb then what are the chances of me being paid. :PDT_Xtremez_21:

What a crud system ::/:

Sickbag terminated, no loss there then......amazing what shiney's can angle for themselves

My shout for coffees on Wedneday then sickbag ? 1030 ?

thats even better than me- JPA has permanetaly detached me to qatar, and thaken all my lsa day and dosh.

The problem is the thousand pounds JPA isn't going to pay me at the end of Jan.

I really don't want to go down the route of EPICs as they are a short term fix to a more serious problem and as JCRAP and PMA have had since Jul last year to sort out my JPA record, I suspect that unless an administrative rocket is fired up their backsides, it won't get fixed soon.......

Not being able to put leave on the system was the problem indicator for me - it may be worth asking PSF to check with PMA8 to see if all PMA8 action has been done correctly

You need to get onto PSF straight away.

Same thing happened to me last June, couldn't put in leave after the 25th. I got it sorted in early June but I only got paid until the 25th. I got it back at the end of July.

After submitting 2 "I-Support" requests (or whatever the useless fnucking things are!) many phone calls to PSF, JPAC, PSF, JPAC, PMA, JPAC, finally spoke a very helpful Cpl in PSF and she managed to sort it out in about half an hour.

Already have done, will be chasing them up tomorrow AM.

They might not like it, but I shall be on their backs.

On a differing note, phone JPAC up at 08:30, usless tozzer (it's in their attitude/tone of voice if it's someone who'll help) picked up the phone, said hold while I transfer you, 10 min later I put the phone down and try again, different bloke, fantastic help, chatty able to help, tried his best, couldn't fix it, so I was given the PSF (HR Staff) advice.

(So 08:30 15/01/07 Bloke No1 Tozzer
08:45 15/01/07 Bloke No 2 Good guy If its in your JPAC Info Brief of the day)

OK - I've now calmed down abit and have even thought about this post.....

After checking a few other posts, threads and forums I have concluded that I am not the only one affected by this "glitch".

Am I alone in thinking this type of stuff is totally unacceptable?

I can pick out a common theme/place of blame here and I reckon that I should/will post it in a more 'robust' forum but what I want to know is.....

Are there any Chf Clks or OC PSFs/PMSs who are willing to put their head above the parapet and make an official winge about stuff like this? It can't be right that RAF personnel are being treated like this (ok, grudgingly, I'll even admit that aircrew flying desks are entitled to better treatment).

Hacked off and tired so I'm off to bed but thinking I'm lucky that I'm treating myself to a 55 hr week. It could be worst.

as long as they still pay you whats the problem?

FLASH ALERT

OK PandA - so what do you say to your family when there is NO food on the table? or when there are bills that cannot be paid because of an 'administrative error'.

Please explain how you would tell the Sickbagettes that they're eating rubbish food because Sickbag has been underpaid? I'm very fcuking interested because Mrs Sickbag has started asking some very fcuking direct questions.

I'm fcuking happy you are not my pay clk. I care about the people I support - even aircrew flying desks.

I know this doesn't help you currently Sickbag, but
I've come to the conclusion the contracts side of things on JPA is pointless, there are people who are active on JPA who haven't even joined up yet, people getting discharged who aren't due it, and people who have been discharged who can't be taken off. Someone needs to get a grip.

I do hope you hassle the PTB's enough to get the problem sorted quickily, I'm sure if Mr Torpy was is the same boat it would have ceased to be a problem for everyone within 24 hours, but it isn't and it's still occurring, how long will it be before the papers get hold of it?

I dare say, my seniors in PSF would take it up if you had an official complaint to make. I know of a few people at my unit who it has happened to, but we I think, unit paid them until it was resolved.

Deadlines

If my issue is not sorted out by the begining of Feb (Thursday the 1st), then I shall be making it offical in all senses of the word (being a Jock no-one messes with my time off or my money).

Until then I am happy for the PSF Guys and Gals to handle it.

I wonder what would happen if you threatened to go to the papers with the problem? Would they get their ar*es in gear or would you just drop yourself in the sh*te?
