Just found out that the 5 slots for SNCO's in Cyprus for this year, have been cut to 2, they "LEANED" 3, and in the next 18 Months they are part contractualising half of Akrotiri Supply. So the last decent posting for our trade, is slowly going!!!

I think I may have a solution to the current manning problems, let face it, the management in the Ivory Towers somewhere in Buckinghamshire won't get to grips with it, so my plan is this:

Disband TSW. Give the job to the Army, I'm sure they could do just as well, its not hard, and its their helicopters anyway. The resulting manpower could be shared around the Units thus reducing DWR times and getting some extra bodies where they are needed.

I hate to say it, but he does have a point ! Don't disband completely, but open up to Tri-Service personnel, that would reduce our element. However, could you ever see the army doing as good a job at it as us...I don't think so. Plus, the Wing is the only opportuinity to 'see the world', albeit lots of sandy places.
