JPA Question

  • Following weeks of work, the E-GOAT team are delighted to present to you a new look to the forums with plenty of new features. Take a look around and see what you think!
She did offer to do the email herself but as JPA is supposed to be self service I said I would try it myself first. I was told that if I had no luck she would try and take it further.

your HR should be there to guide you, I still wouldnt have taken that as answer!

In principle, I agree with you. But I understand from my colleagues in the UK that JPAC have gone full circle and will only talk to the individual . . . ?

I always try and look at it from their point, if you were missing a load of money wouldnt you want an answer other than... I dont know whats wrong put an i support in.

Thats a cop out!

Unless of course your one of the special ones! I never have that problem but then in my job the customers aren't allowed to self service for at least 9 weeks so JPAC has to deal with us, not that they are always that willing to do so!

9 weeks? Bl00dy hell! I thought we mere mortals had it bad.

But whose cop out? I am well aware that a small minority of clerks have been using JPA as an excuse to be lazy, but if JPAC refuse to talk to us, what can we do? I find that I am coaching the lads & lassies in what questions to ask and what information to give in their iSupports and then interpreting the answers they receive.

In theory that means that after a while, they will be able to do it all themselves, but 10 months on and it's not getting any better.

I got most of the money at last this month. Thanks for the advice given to me here. I just have to try and get the money for last March now (pre JPA), I don't know if I have the energy though.:PDT_Xtremez_42:

For Legacy stuff submit an i-support FAO charges & allowances; there's a good guy there who'll ring you back and if you can understand his Glaswegian lisp he's very useful!

Thanks scribe, and being Glawegian myself I don't think the accent will cause to much bother.:PDT_Xtremez_15:
