newcastle are like a broken record. every time they sign a new striker, 'it's he's the best since jackie milburn' and he turns out to be total pig swill. was jackie milburn pig swill?!?!?!?!?!? every time they get a new manger they will win everything, and they dont. I'm sad to say it but teams dont win on the passion of fans alone,if they did then they'd win everything. I can't believe Newcastle fans think of themselves as a BIG club. Expectations?? What have they ever won? Let's face it they don't have a tradition and the club has blown any chance of being a major player when they sacked Big Sam Allardyce who would have surely had a 3/4 year plan for the club. KK will get longer than most managers who have been at NUFC but only becuase of the loyalty of gullible fans who really do believe it's THEIR club. No it's the shareholders actually. I can see a new lamb to the slaughter manager next year!!!!

PS...Alex Ferguson didn't build MUFC in 7 days. His career was saved by Lee Martin in the 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace in the 1990 FA Cup replay. And look where they are now!!!!

RJL makes a good point. Newcastle fans have got to get out of the idea that they are this huge club that should be fighting for honours every season.

You're not. Live with it.

I honestly believe a season in the Championship will do them no harm whatsoever. It'll give them a chance to regroup and consolidate their position without pressure from their fans who believe that big things are a right, not a privilege. It hasn't done Man City any harm.
