Fair play to the RS, the best team won. The ref had a shocker but was equal in his ineptitude. Skyrtyl on Yak was a nail on. Torres goal should have stood as Kuyt wasn't fowling and Cahill was prob not even a booking.
Fair does.

Answer, Mike Riley a game spoiler, didn't let it flow at all and it wasn't the feistiest of derbies I've ever seen or been to. He did it last week when he book 7 ManU players, even I couldn't see 7 bookings in that game.

Skyrtl on Yak...not for me (though i would say that), and the sending off was very, very harsh. Would have been mighty p1ssed off if that had been one of our lads.

Quick point about Torres though. What was up with him prior to the goal? He seemed really agitated (and carrying a few pounds) I've never seen him so frustrated.

Not sure theres anything to read into it, think he gets a bit petulant when things don't go his way.

I think most people would be agitated and frustrated if they had to spend 90 minutes at The Pit with the Blue Sh1te involuntarily. :PDT_Xtremez_14:

At a time when we are top of the Premiership by beating Chelsea away from home, a great feat in itself, congratulations are due. I must admit I had a bad feeling about this one but they did us proud and I've been grinning ever since I heard the score!!!!

YES!!!!

Great result for us but I still fell we are a few players away from a title winning squad, we have no depth on the bench again and until this is sorted we will keep getting it wrong. I hope they prove me wrong but I can't see but once again great result.

Just seen them go 1-0 up away from home against real Madrid and to be honest they have out played them start to finish!

Just hope we don't give away a soft one in the last 5 mins

Get in there......

Twas a dire and dull game and I can't believe how poor Real were. But a wins a win.
The 2nd leg will suit the RS style of play even more now.

With our 8 goals in the last 2 matches against the worlds ‘supposedly’ best club teams……..need I say any fcuking more!?!

May not win the premiership but that is a feat never to be forgotten.

thrashed the mancs in their own back yard, how very very funny and nice to see sir alex ferc*ntson not having the bottle for a post match interview
