who in their right mind in civvy street would accept a job they didn't want, for no more money, most likely with disruption to the family life and extra pressure/responsibilities? to possibly get promoted again (if they work really hard) to earn less than 4k more than the job they left?

Loved being a Chief, head into PSF and they didn't know what to do with you. Not a Sgt but also not a FS. Properly confused them.

Also loved baiting Colour and Staff Sgts in the army by asking them how long they'd been a Flight Sergeant and seeing what their response was, but that's another story.
 
A mate of mine who was discharged on sunday (5th Nov) got his on 19 Oct!

No idea but if the scope is anyone with AFPS75 / AFPS15 and they have left uniform in the last few years then I'd suggest thousands if not tens of.
 
Only thing I've received is acknowledgement that I'm one of those affected by it... Why is the cynic in me expecting it the day before the cut off ??
