Anyone else remember the immortal line delivered on Radio one from Dave Lee Travis (I think) during a show hand over with Simon Bates (possibly) when he stated that tights were horrible things because "they cut off the blood supply at the wrist !" :PDT_Xtremez_31:

To celebrate National Stockings Day, i have changed my avatar back to my legs in stockings. This will be for one day only, then i shall be going back to the poppy field.

It will probably come back permanently after november but at this time of year i prefer to have poppies. I thought i would put it up today though as just before mono went to work he asked if i was going to wear my stockings today! Sorry honey!
 
Thats very nice off you Mrs Mono, its good to see people who remember the fallen as for me, I will be taken part in the Remberence Sunday Parade in Ypres in Belgium this year under the Menin Gate which is a memorial to all the fallen that was never found in that area.

Hmm, takes me back to Chivenor in '92 (I think) - OC GD and an SACW outta the guardroom; both got kicked out if I remember rightly :( The SACW was popular with the lads tho, it was always thought that she would be buried in a Y-shaped box if you get my meaning.

Anyhoo, missed it by 2 weeks, must try and con Missus Wal into thinking it's on monday :D
