I was on 176. Finished May 88. Had a great time there. Thankfully never had JJ.

I'll dig out me old course photo & have a look mate!

Instructors were Sue Stockton, Shaun Smith, Russ Flint (ESG), Henry Higgins (POL) and the awesome Ray Chillington (R&D), when he was awake, bless him.

Blimey - nows theres some names from my distant past....especially Ray C and his absolutely awesome RAF 'tache!!

Absolutely no idea about course numbers etc, but joined 5 Jan 88 and must have left Hereford either late May or early June of that year.
 
Anyone recall Steve Mardon?

He had us rolling up when he said Hitler was the greatest supplier!!

Naturally this has us all bemused until he explained - 6 million dues in, no jews out!

You joined the same day as me. We must have been on the same course near enough.

Steve is at the school teaching explosives. He comes to visit me occasionally with his courses to count NEQ.

i just got back from that nasty place nr ayulbury you all know the one any way i was looking at the old supply trsining pics there god ive changed lol and ive only been in 4 and a half years ah well anyone from sbt 33 wanna get in touch drop me a line

Steve Mardon is a civvy istructor at Halton now, I have got him on my X course there in 2 weeks
 
By the way course 145 at Hereford in 87, am I the oldest person still in the mob ???? and actually bumped into Cpl Gerrish (PTI) now FS at Halton on wednesday. He was the pretty boy PTI at Hereford and annoyingly doesn't seem to have aged at all unlike me. Once again life and the RAF fart in my face

Danny, glad to see you enjoyed your VITAL cse. Of course the instructors got you through it. Should we have all the photos from the old courses on the L & STS website, so people can put names to the faces? When you say you've changed, do you mean you've put on weight, if so, who doesn't.
