I know I've miffed a fair few people off tonight but I thought that getting the upgrade of the site started in a bit of spare time was essential if we are to stop hackers getting a grip on our site. The site will be disrupted over the coming weeks and a lot of stuff will look like it's disappeared. However, I have turned all the scripts off to update the database and will slowly but surely update them all and activate them.....if they can be.

The site will look better and better as time goes along so please just bare with me.
 
Still got the old version up on my house computer.. Haven't pressed the F5 button yet! Good luck with your efforts mate!

Old page disappeared with a fatal error on refresh! LOL
 
Yer, I'm afraid it will mate. All will be well over the next few days when I've played around with the theme I intend using for the site. Thanks for posting by the way, I thought people couldn't post for about 20 minutes or so.

E-Goat has been a great help to me so far and I only joined a couple of days ago so just wanted to thank all members and yourself Wobbly and glad your making it a better place to visit

I take it that's why Tapatalk isn't working? I had a moment of panic this morning too when I had to remember my password! All's well though and thanks for the update.

The site style is the basic default one that is generated when I updated the site. I've got a new purchased theme that will look sooooo much better and will hopefully have this up and running this week. As for tapatal, we've bought the mobile script for around 150 quid and when I get it all sorted we should have a customised e-goat iphone app available in the istore and an android app available on their store. Obviosly we will be able to generate some sort of income from this that will go into our charity pot.Now the only thing standing in the way is work so I will have to get on with that for the time being :(
 
It was a bit of a surprise to see it changed last night and being an old fart I don't like change but if it means keeping the site up and running then all's good.

I can knock up a fake doctor's note for you so that you can concentrate on your primary duty of making e-goat look nice.
Work is just as unnecessary distraction.
 
The upgrade is (was) a damned sight faster than the RAF News site update.

They have been at it for months and it is still not back up.
