As for tapatal, we've bought the mobile script for around 150 quid and when I get it all sorted we should have a customised e-goat iphone app available in the istore and an android app available on their store. Obviosly we will be able to generate some sort of income from this that will go into our charity pot.Now the only thing standing in the way is work so I will have to get on with that for the time being :(

Blimey, nice one! I'll definitely be up for the Android one when it's done, and don't mind paying.
 
Looks OK and accept there will be a few "glitches" but if the site is not updated etc, hackers and spammers will win

Don't worry mate. Once I get my teeth in the graphics editing we should be looking sweet again.

Wobbly its looking good, nice one for keeping us up to date and all. Initially thought it was a DII drama in work today so wasnt a happy bunny, but have just sat down for longer than 5 minutes and found its all your fault not DII's damn you I like blaming them for things lol. Keep up the good work

That particular link doesn't work anymore and I assumed the goat was fully down for awhile.

It wasn't until I just typed in e-goat.co.uk that I discovered the site had changed.


Is it worth sending out a blanket email to all members in case some haven't realised?


Good work Wobbly by the way. My only criticism is that the text appears quite small on the iPhone when compared to the last version.

All I have to do today is get a working copy of the site onto IGS and I will be happy.

Smilies still won't work, but I'm sure I can manage.

One thing I do miss from the old forum software, when you went to your e-goat home page and it would list all the posts since your last visit. I see the stats at the bottom of the page, but don't see a 'new posts since your last visit'... any chance this feature is here somewhere and I just can't find it?

Hello Wobbly.I'm sure you've been inundated with messages regarding the new EGoat so I hope my question is not a repetition of others.Having just accessed the latest guise of the goat via IGS I notice that I cannot access the smileys as well as being able to add quotes, links and embed clips etc.When posting I'm also not able to seperate lines by hitting the return button as when I submit the reply, the space is removed and text is joined back to the previous sentence(as has happened with this message).Are you aware of these issues?Thanks Wobbly and keep up the good work.
 
I am mega chuffed at the improvements - it all seems to work like magic. My only hope and prayer is that the new update will not have a facility for that feckin' snow thing at Christmas. Bah Humbug!!!

Wobbly, I have one suggestion. The 'military' smilies to the right of the text entry panel are on the 'very small' side.
Can you make them larger please ? It's that or a new pair of glasses (or a magnifying glass) [and yes, I pressed 'more']
