its an elete organisation,
What's one of them mate? Is that a French organisation?DT_Xtremez_19:
If I was in your shoes, or boots as its soon going to be I'd try damn hard to get out of it, or you'll end up like some of the posters here who think its an elete organisation, rather than a bunch of glorified petrol pump attendants. if you want to be involved with fuel get to F&L on your camp, or you will be setting up tents at Stafford town show.

How predictable, I knew we'd get one on here eventually.
Some no mark, clip clop shoes, chip hat, tornado tie pin and stable belt wearing SCAF mong no doubt who believes that the ultimate way in which you can spend your life in the military is separating the batch prints from the fast printer on a Monday morning.
Having served on both unit F&L and TSW I can tell you for definite one is a job that could be (and has been) quite easily contracted out for civvies to do and the other is a genuine military task, something for those who are proud to serve and wish to in a manner which is over and above that of a glorified jaffa.
Yes, TSW is no 'elate' organisation but it is one that ultimately anyone who is joining the RAF as a stacker (still a military organisation last time I checked) should be happy to serve in. If you want to count blankets but stay nice and safe in the UK go and work for Serco.
Pants!
There's a med centre and a dental centre, on base, that TSW can't use - we have to go to Cosford for that!
The gym is pish too. Quite sad seeing a once-busy RAF unit neglected now. The sooner TSW move out, the better! Viva Scampton!
Are you seriously trying to say that the vast majority of the trade group can't count themselves as belonging to a military service because they are in the UK wearing blue uniform and counitng nuts and bolts. What about the normal stackers who are out in Iraq dodging mortar shells, do they count? My Tornado cuff links go nicely with my stable belt thanks, and please dont compare any us with SERCO, they took my job away in 97 and frankly my dogs' smarter.
Thanks Norman good to see ive still got it!
Let's keep the thread on topic please folks.
You haven't got one of those new fangled shiney stable belts have you stacker4ever?
You've changed....
