I'll be honest, I've been turned down my 15 years, but I'm waiting for my Cpl slot to appear, I'll take any job if it means I get my bananas and signed on for 22.

For me it was the 18 month sentence at Stanbridge. For some a dream posting, but for me, an avowed non geek it was hell, great people and SSSA was a bonus, but the Un civil Servants there are in some kind of suspended animation circa 1978!!!!

18 months feeling like i was a deckchair arranger on the titanic!!!!!!!

On the Officers' BSC, it was always a given to fail the IT aptitude test, thus avoiding the place.

I would still not even take that post again.. Lets just say it is Pants (with a capital P) and hated nearly everyday of it. Now that is alot of days in 3 years...

Yip your right. Mate was there before you then. Hated it 100%. Time they disestablished it. Absolute sh*te post for a Cpl Stacker by all accounts mate.

Tons of Stackers united, apart from the Wing Mongs v Non-Cadre battles! And WRAF blocks to party in !!!

Cottesmore was my only bad posting. They worked you like a dog and then Waste of Space came in and expected you to do their stuff as well as your own. And to top it all off the Sqn Execs were a lot of usless w*nkers with no back bone. It's only saving grace was the location. All my other postings have been brilliant lots of good memories.
