RIP Guys.

As an aside, has anyone else noticed Bliar's standard comment on "all" these losses we have....."our foreign policy is right and justified"! He just has to get that in, the c**t.

RIP guys

Sad news indeed, brings back memories of the two sea kings that collided during Telic 1.

Updated info has the cabs coming from Benson...

Oh and bbc news : Puma helicopters - mainly used to transport troops and equipment - are normally flown by the RAF.

Only the RAF. A quick visit to http://www.raf.mod.uk/ might help.

RAF Officer was most likely in the SAS was quoted earlier. BBC News 24 are useless on military matters (unless Mark Urban is about when something happens).

RIP Guys

Terrible tragedy, I was with the Father of one killed when he got the news---having lost his son in law a fortnight ago and now ''his boy'' God knows what is going through his head -------RIP and total respect

May they Rest In Peace

My sincere condolences to their Families, Friends and Colleagues, and a speedy recovery to the injured.

Have just seen on news that the ALM was Sgt Mark McLaren. I went through ITC with the bloke and will always remember him as a great guy with a wicked sense of humour. R.I.P Mark, my thoughts and prayers are with your family.

My thoughts are with the families and guys on the Squadron.
