So are you interested or NFI and is that smiling WRAF Doris in the photo just about to cop a decent straight arm left jab? The website also includes a handy event countdown clock.

Main event is in July - thousands of miserable souls being forced to march through London (that's probaby a bit harsh, I'm sure some of them will be volunteers...). I had a brief on the marching / training schedule a few weeks back, sounds like it's gonna be loads of fun....

I dare you to put a numerical figure on the word 'some'............:PDT_Xtremez_42:

I hope to be marching my way through part of the Scottish Highlands on a photographic expedition in July.
Thoughts go to the souls who have their weekend and numerous practice days ruined yet again.

When in July?

Bizarrely, the parade doesn't show in the RAF100 website's map of 'things going on'. But it's been mentioned a few times in the press - mainly as a massive waste of money we don't have....

There's also this stuff going on, at the same time on the same day...

If I can speak for the current serving members of the RAF, why not ask what you can do for them as opposed to what they can do for you! A few extra days leave would be nice to spend with the family, and maybe a public funded holiday that isn't a sandpit, for starters. Beers all round, and maybe some entertainment would be nice too. That should do it, and we'll all raise a glass to those past and present.

Interesting idea but I fail to follow the logic. We are all agreed that funds are in short supply and that cuts continue but you wonder if the taxpayer might stump up extra money, from somewhere, to fund a beano day for the current serving men!!

So basically, some planespotters think that it's completely fine to spend millions on a flypast, but not on giving us a day off and a beer. Cheers, fcuknuts...

To extend from another thread running at the moment; I wonder how many SP are re-fabloning their biff chits ready to swerve next year's enforced marching and arms drill fun?
