best way to get left alone is to be in the first lot to finish the boot run. The RSM will be soo annoyed that you have beaten his lot he will leave you alone and beast them. trust me when i say they hate the RAF beating them at anything.

Very true.

The CRE (A) PTI hated me beating them on roadruns.
I never did tell him I'd been training for the London Marathon for the last 8 yrs.

Our 2 mile roadrun each week was like a warm-up for me.

He tried to sprint in with me one week, I left him for dead, looking like the coyote getting beaten by the Roadrunner.
I stood outside the sports pavilion waiting for them all to finish, all the time the Army PTI was giving me the evil eye.

Either go with the flow or make the flow go for you!!
Join every possible RAF competition " sorry sir we need full day away for XXX" start a few of your own (good for the annual write up) you may have trouble putting 15 out for rugby but you can cover most sports. You could really pi55 him off and blow his sports budget.
