Noooooooooo.......I've been out a wee while now and NEVER expected to hear that bloody name again...err, alleged name that is.

Alleged miscreant was the cause of one of my OOA's coming forward 4 months. Fair enough...got on and did it. Sadly said alleged was my nominated replacement 4 months later. I refused to get my hopes up and enjoyed a further 3 weeks of "singledom" while PMA scrabbled around trying to find someone who was fit and/or not otherwise deployed or deploying.

All allegedly of course. ;)
 
That alleged person used to hang aroung with another wast of space who had a distinct polish sounding surname. He was also rather large.
 
Some of the Sgts and JNCOs TG18 names are out there. It seems a leak in the system. I am sure if you ring the right person at an Oxfordshire Base he would let you know. Admittedly it was not him that sat on the board, but this info was meant to be kept hush.:PDT_Xtremez_06: There will be some unhappy FS
And before people moan about these things always get out, you wont think it is so funny if you're the one there talking about.

he's a grade A A-hole. Thought he would make a decent snec as well; absolutely deluded.

If those people are not of value to the trade (and I think we all know what I mean), then your time is up and you have blagged the system for as long as you could. On the other hand there will be a possibility that some decent people will go and that will be a downright disgrace.

And therein lies the problem. Those who some judge to be 'are not of value to the trade' others will say they are 'decent'. A very subjective point of view and one that there is no right or wrong answer. When the names are released on 1st Sept, I am sure there will be extremes of opinions of most of those selected. (Not all)!!
Probably one of the most difficult descisions that those involved have had to make.

If this is true and the names are out there, I would be extremely grateful to know if my name appears on it as I applied and could start preparing for life on the outside a month or so early. If anyone has the list of names PM me please.
 
I've heard a rumour that the number selected for redundancy is no where near 18 and most of those chosen are sickies. Not too sure how many of those who've applied have got it but there's always the 2nd tranche announced in September.

The source of this news cannot be disclosed but they are getting a very nice tan at the moment and only working half days most of the time.......
 
I can confirm that there have not been enough volunteers. E-mail sent around my place last week confirmed that, as boss is looking to see if he has any possible people in the bracket, so he could avoid any possible surprises.
