Why do people do this I can't fathom it. I've got a very small selection of gongs and none for doing anything dangerous or interesting but I would never entertain going out and buying some I hadn't earned. Prat

 
Who knows why, sad individuals!
I only have the LS& GCM and didn't to wear it when we went to the service. We just wore our veterans badges and poppies. Wife did 5 years in PMRAFNS including her nurse training.
 
At the 11th hour of the 11th month I attended the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne and watched as Melbourne came to a halt at every major intersection; here is the 2023 video,

One week on from the Remembrance Sunday parade at the Cenotaph the AJEX parade has taken place. I must confess I was totally unaware of this annual event until reading the article. Every days a learning day

"The annual ceremony of the Association of Jewish Ex-Servicemen and Women (AJEX) was held on Sunday, 103 years after the laying of the first Star of David wreath in 1921 by a group of Jewish ex-soldiers."
