Just been to the Manning site and they are asking for 50 this year and the board sits around thr 10th - 19th December.So who's got there lottery ticket ready?
 
B b b b b b b brilliant hey it is a big pot and is only going to get bigger you have to stand out and be noticed get those extra duties under your belt do your job well and be fit and ready to deploy

Is this going to go the way of the Cpl-Sgt thread, where are the most SAC's in the trade?

You never know you may get a board with people who don't put any extra weight on the fact that someone is from 90SU, but the fact of the matter is 90SU will most likely get the largest amount of promotions due to its size.

I dont understand why people complain about the amount of promotions from 90SU, Its much bigger so there is bound to be more people get picked up. Some posts may have more opportunities to do that bit extra you need to get picked up but no matter where you go if you want it you will find that bit extra. Its all about the write up in your report, if its not good enough then its your responsibility to flag it up before its finalised.Anyways nevermind the next board, whats going on with the current one?

That's more or less what I was saying...............

The current board has got to around 60 (58 got his offer about a week ago).

Yeah i know, i was just agreeing :).If its hit 62 today then i have my fingers crossed they release a few more, few months left yet.
 
Promoting the 4000's has been going a while now. The thing is though, when something new comes in there is always going to be the whole "trying to prove it works" arguement. the same happened when the 1932's started coming out of Cosford, and they were being promoted ahead of Mech/Techs etc.
