If it was the Cpl - Sgt board i think it would be a 75 - 25 % spilt from 90 and Cosford based on previous threads.

The word on the street is that, because of the drawdown from numerous sandy places, 90SU is no longer viable or needed. As part of the redundancies "they" are not going to post or promote anyone from there for the forseeable future and use that as the next tranche for the RAF (900 pers).

All DATOs and iHubs are going to be pooled and put together as a iSuperHubTO at the old BBC HQ in London, where you'll do your 6 month-ers (there or SPACs [Southern Penguin Atlantic Compound]) in civvies. No need for any promotions.

A friend of a friend of a friend is 65, and he reckons his Chf Clk has just given him the nod and told him "Not to worry".






I mean, that's all b0ll0x, because I just made it up, but it sounds pretty good.

Hello guys,

Just a quick question. This is my first time I've been able to be graded by the board. My last report was an A. The board have graded me as a B. Can any one explain what this means exactly? I wasn't expecting to be on the board. But is a B better than not being graded or is it pretty much the same as I'm not an A?

A B means ready for promotion but not yet fully competitive with his peers. And that will be based on your last 3 reports not just your last one. If you keep up the good work and continue getting justified A's then you will get there eventually.

As long as the High is strongly written then you might have a chance the drop to dev is strange and may go against you. To be honest though you might need another year of High to be really competitive.

We've been briefed that due to lack of numbers for 4000 courses, the bottom 3rd are no longer being promoted and the middle 3rd, well that's an even bigger lottery then the promotion board.

Where are you chilly? This has happened before and they've made the quota eventually.

I've been told they are getting towards no 37 so keep your fingers crossed.

You can be released to the PSL and still be waiting for an offer. If they have released past you it just means they are in the process of sorting your offer. It will come....
