Keerist, I can remember a few as late as the the early 90's when we had one guy going nowhere fast and just waiting for that magic 22 years point. Not quite old enough to be my Dad, but he wasn't far off it!Its certainly not a new thing - I can remember a few hairy ar5ed SACs back in the 70's - all waiting to go on their pensions...
I'd like to know where you got your info from shiney pencil?
As of today (well, lunchtime tues 13th nov!) the intranet does not have the nov chief clerk bulletin up on the ACOS/DACOS/PMA site..........................
The only good thing about SAMA was when it broke or went wrong we knew who to contact or how to make it work. JPA probably Fuchs up just as much but most of us don't yet have a working knowledge of it, unless we are working hard in PSF......
Back on topic, there will be lots of reasons for lots of SACs to accept a 22yr engagement just like there will be lots of reasons for lots of SACs not to accept.
From my own trades point of view we are moving to a new trade structure so we need more SACs out there which is why we need a few extra at the mo.
