How ironic that the RAF will retain people like yourself. It amazes me how many stay only to support their boarding school allowance etc. What a joke. You either want to be in or you do not!I for one would have pulled the boarding school scam many moons ago. It seems ridiculous that the working masses have to do without incidentals etc but others are paid to put their kids through expensive boarding schools, usually for little or no reason at all.

Honestly, what were people expecting given the Sgt - FS quota? If anyone is that bothered it wouldn't have been a surprise as they'd have looked at the Positions Register and seen how many Sgts are leaving the service + 4 predicted to FS + a loss of established jobs.

Apparently they have released No.7 off the Sgt-FS PSL, and that board still has 12 months to run. When it sat in March it was billed as a 15 monthboard to bring it back into line.so it should have 12 months to run from now

I have heard "Rumours" that manning a getting Sgt TG4 PVR's on a daily basis too, Still, It may not increase the number past 25!

Not that it affects me, the entire TG4 Sgt population at 90 SU, Cosford and everywhere else would have to get wiped out before I got a look in

With 9 months left on this board and with a quota of 10 on next months FS-WO board I would be surprised if they don't use a few more.

I suppose if you look at this in a logical way with the reduction in TG4 of the overall manning. A quota of 10 FS to WO would probably mean they will actually promote & release 50% of the Quota (as has happened in previous years). That should free up 5 FS posts, then reduce that by a further 50% for natural wastage & redundant posts that do not need to be back filled. Then it is probable that they will release 2 maybe another 3 off the 2013 Sgt to FS board. Thus having a knock on effect down the rank structure. Just my opinion but I believe its logical.
