FLT,

I'll be sending a donation as soon as I've sorted a few financial things out.

I'm gutted to hear about your wife succumbing so young to this horrible disease.

Wish you all the best mate.

Donation made satis :PDT_Xtremez_30:

Best of luck on the day FLT,

COME ON GOATERS, DIG DEEP AND HELP FLT REACH HIS TARGET!!!

FLT,

Condolences on your wife passing far too young. Anything I can do to help further support for others who need the support. Piggybank contents winging your way.

Good luck! Dragon Boat sounds like an intriguing event too ;)

Lil,

It's a cracking event, done it in some capacity for the last couple of years now but this is the first time with a team from work. Needless to say I will be posting piccys from the event. Oh there may well be some video footage croping up on youtube as well.

Would just like to say thanks once more, going to keep pushing this right up to the closing date for donations/sponsorship.

Come on guys not too much more to go, honest!!!!! Besides I'm sure you want to see me and many more destructors looking our best as what can only be described as "hot nurses".

Here's the link for those that may have missed it.

Boing!!!!!

Just to remind you all the event is going ahead on Sunday and I'm, along with the rest of the team, losing all dignity that we had just for a good cause.

I wonder if Turbo Angry Man will be willing to empty the contents of his pockets seeing as I'm going to be making the effort to make it look like the big nosed tw@t has some friends.

No, he didn't have that many friends there. It would have been better if we'd held the leaving doo in a phone box!:PDT_Xtremez_30:

I was hoping to get up to see you all make fools of yourselves but it is not to be. Hope you all enjoy the feeling of those crisp linen uniforms against your freshly shaved legs - money in the pot (for the fund not you to strip!!):PDT_Xtremez_30:

Sorry Mike I can't make it after all so I've been and lobbed another couple of quid in the pot - all the best and make sure you remember to enjoy yourselves.:PDT_Xtremez_42:

No worrys Hu, many thanks for the generosity. I now have my costume and have to say it was quite distubing to find it mildly arousing when I tried it on. I shall have to have a pint in your absence. Any members of the goat in Shrewsbury on Sunday pop down to the quarry and cast your gaze over the Severn and look for the vision that is the boat of nurses. There may well be a debate started after the event to see who was the best looking on the day, I shall open it up to the floor. The more we raise the more pictures will get posted.

Now come on guys and gals, show you care. Please...............

The race is done, we came second overall only to loose out to the navy in the final. Still, a good day was had by all and we far exceeded our expectations. Our aim was to turn up, have a laugh, ave a beer or two and raise some cash. We did that rather well. It's not too late though to donate if you want. I just need to relearn how to post pictures on the forum and you can have a laugh, also you can be the judges as to best in show for us nurses.

Just a little necro posting and to let you all know I'm still about, BZN hasn't drained all of my will to live just yet. Again I am part of a team taking part in the annual severn hospice dragon boat race and retain my affiliation to the team from LTF at Cosford. Different justgiving link to last time as I can't remember my password.

A massive thank you to those who donated last year, any chance you can keep the trend going?

My other fund raising attempts have been put on hold due to the body saying no but I can push through the pain barrier for this one event as it's such a good fun day out for all.

Anyhow, please follow the link and be as kind as you see fit in these austere times, who knows they may take the drachma again soon.

Cheers

FLT
