I remember there used to be a software development type organization at West Drayton, and there was often a note in SRO's about volunteering for Out of Trade computer type stuff. I knew one person that went for it but not sure how far he got.

Had this organization been funded better, or even established a new trade back in the late 90's, would both trades still be surviving? Just curious...

It didn't happen POB, the current TG4 happened instead, not as well.

Also, check out the RAF careers website - it's already changed to ICT Specialists.

I guess the rest of us will have to hear all this 3rd hand as with that Future Of TG4 power point.

so thats people for desktop support sorted out....

Where are they going to get the engineers to fix the radars/ sensors, to configure the satcom links, to maintain the networks of the new NEC world?

And what are ATLAS and Fujitsu gonna do?

MC/ALL. Spoke to my Mate in Cyprus. Still a lack of or no new information from this TG4 brief apparently. They still don't know how to sort out promotions, IM/Former TG3 slots etc. No change there then!!!::/:
 
My boss had a chat with the new wobbly in the TS office today - he has only been there 3 weeks. He is in full agreement that the flow of information on the website etc has been badly handled and is hoping to turn things around. We shall see.

Didn't stop me from putting in my notice today.:PDT_Xtremez_30:
