Anyone see that report about a WW2 Spitfire pilot who was "not permitted" to sit in a Spitfire "on grounds of Health & Safety".
OK, he's 93 but a fit 93. . . .

I nearly choked on my early morning coffee on the way into town when I read that.

I did like this part though, he at least has a sense of humour:
‘I had to laugh to think I couldn’t sit in a stationary Spitfire in case I got hurt,’ said the veteran from Worcester.

‘I just wish the Luftwaffe had been so caring.’
