I would be interested in any news from back home as I'm currently enjoying a trip to sunnier climates QOX to be precise but out of the loop anyway.
I know someone compiled a list from pm's so as not to break persec as you say RAF bird and hopefully we can do something similar again as we all know just how hard it is to get the info out to those on the streets, mind you another year gone and we still have to put up with the cloak & dagger sh!te that we do everytime the board sits.
I believe it's 11 they're looking for but heard before I left that 35 Sgt's were due to leave in the next 12 months, now stocktaking has never been my strong point but those figures don't quite add up...

The numbers don't look right at first, but think how many were out of trade in Recruiting. Also those that got to do the recruiting surge and MOT teams. I imagine all these are being returned to trade now. Also I think they establisted more in the Training role, which may now be disestablished.
Look at all the other little area's that we have Sgt's that may now be drawing down. The promotion board selection is for the next 15 months usually. When will the secret vertical lift base start draw down, secret AT base start draw down etc.

There is no word here at Stacker HQ yet of who has been picked up, although I have a heard a rumour (and it is only a rumour by the way) that No10 on the board is not getting offered promotion because that person doesnt have enough time left to do their promotion courses.......That just about sums this organisation up!!!!

No doubt there will be people who think they should be promoted but arn't anywhere near the list. And watch them go off the handle at who did get promoted, it makes me laugh every year.

To those who take persec and opsec lightly I would like to point out that they are not just site rules and they are there for a very good reason, someone who lets slip information of any level can be targetted for information of a higher and more important nature.

I'm sure we will see the out come early next week, as there will be talk of PVR's and such forth and all the mutterings of I've had enough of this for another year until they get their hopes up again after their SJAR this year and think they will be on the board next year.

At my south Oxfordshire base 2 people have been told they are promoted. Was the quota 11? That must mean SAC-CPL will be around 15-25 this year. Still i like to beleive the ACOS manning 90 quota, oh i live in a dream world.

I have been told they upped the Cpl-Sgt quota to around 40, which is a pretty big jump...loads of snecs coming out etc

My mate has just heard that there are 2 getting picked up at a place in Bedfordshire. Has yet to be confirmed though.
Well one definite at my secret location (came off the board number 1) and another who was number 12 is hoping as well.
It does amaze me a little for manning to only be looking at promoting 11 Cpl - Sgt however on their site it says they are looking to promote 90 SAC - Cpl. Surely one of them numbers is way out. They cant be disestablishing that many posts???

There will be Sgt's clinging on to the pension point whereas the Cpl's are banging out quicker from what I've seen.
