The all incompassing Branch and Trade website will be up and running in a matter of weeks, this will gather together all matters admin as well as being a B&T website. The B&T sponsor's web pages are still running on the old PMA website, but it will be shut down, once the new one is up. Got to go, lots to do.

If people have got suggestions for your improvement to your site when it is up and running, how do they submit them?

Why thats me!!! Thanks for your comments Small Change.
Why is it a manpower drain though? Its called overtime and wanting to help the customers to be informed of all the JPA developments (helps us too) and isn't that what all the PSF's should be doing anyway, its not that hard or time consuming to keep a website running!!!
Plus it saves about 20% of volume of f@?kwit phonecall questions which the clerks would normally get, as personnel based here know to look at the website in the first instance.

i agree with the help the customer bit of you post above, but the higlighted bits above are a little contradictory. Its not a manpower drain but you cant get it done in your normal working hours? IMO we are the worst trade for expecting people to work extra hours and this is a prime example.

If your website is really required then you should be able to fit it into your normal working hours surely?

Sorry Sgt S, more clairication on my part needed. The initial phase of setting up the Website between myself/my WO and the excellent web master, we did have to put in a lot of time and effort. However, as with life, a little blood sweat & tears pays off and like I said on the original thread, the phonecall levels have dropped significantly and even on a recent inspection, WO A1 Ops was highly impressed with the website.

Any amendments/uploads now I do during working hours.

I didn't think A1 Ops were doing inspections anymore?

FN, don't be so picky. Whatever they call it now, a reassurance visit!!!!

I think that it was a JPA Impact Visit; basically a fact finding visit. I understand that Assurance will come next year. I know that the team are very tetchy about the word "inspection"; they certainly where when I saw them. They are also not from A1 Ops, I understand that they have moved to work with the Trade Sponsor.
