I'm going to be the one to bite :D

From a TCW perspective, certainly on the field squadron's why would you not wear greens?

Considering the year is made up of 2 12wk stints OOA and the rest of the time prepping/de-prepping from exercise or actually on exercise it would seem a waste of time trying to have the odd week here or there wearing blues.
 
So we are all going to be issued overalls when we already have CS95, that's a good use of our budget. How many WOs and senior officers sat in meetings to come up with this boll@cks, maybe the next round of redunancies should be anyone that has sat in irrelevant meeting at Air Command in the last year.

No they cant, there are strict rules for directly copying and pasting from the intranet unless you have specific permission.

Off Topic Mucho apologies - it's been a long day.


This is all about raising our profile in the public eye and making it obvious we are not "soldiers" - something goaters have complained about on many occasions. I think it's a good thing.
 
The only thing im upset about is I'll only have a fraction of the amount of pockets if we go into blues. Might have to start wearing my Gerber and MagLight on my belt which I hate. Makes you look like a bigger (or more of a..) throbber than you actually are.
 
The best part I found in the whole thing, Fkying suits only to be worn on the way or to a flying mission!!!

Think it mentioned 'flying activities'. They'll either be up or in the sim 24/7..
 
Actually it's 'flying related activities'...My entire week is related to flying in one way or another so no change for us...:PDT_Xtremez_06:

I heard today that TCW have been ordered to wear blues as of Monday.

I bet the clothing stores at Leeming are busy at the moment.:PDT_Xtremez_42:
 
Looks like the mover muppets at Lyneham will be in blues from monday as well....
