Trade group 4 first posting

It can be difficult to get on the 4001 course at the moment. I've heard that there's an approx 18 month waiting list for places unless you are due to deploy or your section has a set number of places per course i.e 90SU, 1 ACC etc.

Not sure about that. Had a lad posted in just before Christmas and he's already back on his 4001

I wouldn't say ruled out as much as prefer not to. If I were posted to a radar posting I wouldn't complain. My knowledge on radar is sketchy and I'd have to do a lot more reading in my spare time to bring up my standard (I passed my exams for it, but not comfortable enough for me to feel confident.)

I would prefer 90su at current and would enjoy most roles there aside from the 5 sq part of it. I'm like a yoyo as most would be in my situation. You're given a wide spectrum of ideas, then they're wittled down by what you see and then you have a idea of what you want. The falcon and cormorant roles just appealed to me is all. Needless to say, I'm open to anything though.
