What was number one when you joined?

24 Nov 1970:
Jimi Hendrix - Voodoo Child

And on the day I left on 21 Nov 2008:
X Factor Finalists - Hero.

Ever such a slight difference in music there I think!

MARRS - Pump up the volume was #1 when I sold my soul to Trenchard

Blue Monday - New Order was always on the video juke box in The Newcomers'

Me and the Farmer - Housemartins was always on the video juke box in 'The Cambrian Club'

Scampton didn't have a video juke box in them days. Happy times.

Swinditz 1975, Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel - Make me Smile(Come up and see me). Don't remember it at the time, must have been enjoying myself to much(Sarcasm is a wonderful thing). Had to look it up.

Gloria Gaynor - I will survive. How do I know? I was the saddo listening to Pick of the Pops on cardigan FM on Sunday, when the charts for this week in 1979 were played. The shame of it all!
