Oh feck me that must be why I can't get hold of them, I've had my head up my ar$e and didn't know they had moved to HW.

Probably caught them unaware - just walking past the phone when it rang and instinct took over......then again..

That was the only 2 calls allowed you barsteward - share them about.

How are the boards going these days - anyone know??

I did make four calls to be honest so I wouldnt try tomorrow as I've taken those as well.

If we are all changing titles to reflect what we actually do, shouldn't they become drafters again, coz they sure as hell don't manage careers! And yes, I am bitter!
 
If the name reflects what they do, shouldn't it be "Putting bums on seats".

In 87 I finished my P&A Cllk course and I asked on the aptly named dream sheet to be posted to London or the South East. Given there were several hundred SAC posts in that area, including some at some unpopular camps like High Wycombe, where did I end up...

Buchan FFS, it only took my 14.5 hours to get home! I laughed my arse off when they decided to close Innsworth and move them to High Wycombe.
 
Some of the posts on this thread may be getting a little too personal in the slating (& virtually naming) of the individual CMs. It's one thing to slag off CMs in general (or VIP, PSF bods etc), or to name names in the confines of the crewroom, mess etc, but to single one out on a 'public' internet forum is, IMHO, pushing it too far.

I wouldn't be too happy if it was me...

Having re-read the thread, yes someone has been singled out, if you mention the initials of the individual then you are identifying them.

I personnaly see this as an old gripe as it was the same when AT (recognise the initials Tommo) was in post along with others. No one will ever be happy because at the moment the person calls the desk the CM (or whatever they like to be called) is off for a depth charge break. I personally don't have a problem with our desk, as they have been very helpful when i have called.

Well there's only 2 of them doing TG17, so we all know who they are anyway. Nobody has had a real pop - TBJ has recounted a conversation and effinhell is just a moaner who has avoided drafting all their career!! I have to say if TBJ had opened a conversation with me like that he would probably have received the same response/attitude!!

I think this thread has just about been done to death - the question was where have the drafters/CM's gone and it has been answered. The 2 people who actually draft TG17 are both in work now until Xmas and I'm sure they will answer the phone when they are able, within the normal opening hours. If anyone wants to open a thread about the quality of drafting please feel free to do so, just avoid naming individuals. Thread closed.
