Or the ACS roof fixed at Halton, or more SFA, or SFA that is habitable, more serviceable jets etc?

There are problems everywhere, this is just one fix in a myriad of other issues.

But this doesn't fix anything mate. Court mounting of medals is a choice, you can get them mounted for free at clothing stores.

You can get them swing mounted for free, not court mounted.

I get what you're saying, but the huge fixes you refer to won't happen overnight, this is a quick win and something which benefits us. It's not the same, it's like when the Gov introduced Furlough, but then the public started asking what they are doing about climate change.

Separate issues and which need to be tackled separately.

But you can only have them court mounted by the Stn Tailors. You will have to put up with some shit quality. (Some are better than others)

Says the man with a side hustle! You are right though, the tailers are sh1te.

How much do you charge PM?

Saw an email last week from Balloon Command - RAF are adopting the RN approach and will pay for court mounting of 6 medals or more; IBN imminent.

Yey!!!
IBN 74/23 has been released. the most important details is the cost and what you can claim for, I suspect every person who does court mounting will be charging the maximum.

MOD has shot themselves in the foot with this one, saying that £10 is average but here's what you can claim. With most camps having a cottage industry of mounters in each Mess, Half will fold as they won't be arsed with registering as a company and paying tax etc, the others will increase their price, not that it matters to the claimant as they will get the cash back.
