Being a long suffering Leeds supporter I don't know how to feel about this latest revelation...A once great club that went bankrupt last season, had 15 points deducted for it's troubles, got an unpopular manager who has guided them to 4th in the league on a shoestring and now the little t*sser bails before the job is finished...

Anyone think Leeds can still get promoted?

Anyone think Wise leaving is a blessing in disguise?

Anyone think Wise will take a fall in his new position at Newcastle as him and Keegan find out that you can't polish a turd? (Toon fans calm down...I'm insinuating that as good as you al think Keegan is I don't think you have the squad to make him look THAT good)...

Well all I can say is what muppet is next in a long line of muppets! Now I dont claim to be a font of all Leeds United knowledge, I used to be a massive fan when they won the old 1st division before it went all premier league! I think Leeds has been suffering since the Howard Wilkinson days and will continue to do so as long as they have fat cats like Bates milking the club dry!

The point is that it isn't Keegans squad, it's Duff Allardyces. Watch and wait

Wise and Keegan that's two so just five more persons of restricted growth to get on board and the Newcastle fairy tale can begin.

Proper question what will be his role at NUFC????

At 41 he will be the director of football for them...many commentators are saying he's a bit young for this role...

Keegan may be a good motivator but he is tactically inept which was proven in his previous jobs at Newcastle, Man City and especially England. What he needed therefore was a No 2 who was tactically sound, an excellent coach and who had the respect of the players. So who has he got, Dennis bleedin Wise!

It is no surprise that Leeds have floundered in the league ever since Gus Poyet left them to go to Spurs. He was the real coaching brains at Leeds and now Wise is out of his depth. As for respect, if you thinks a player who only looked good because he was in a good team at Chelsea and used to go round kicking players when the Ref was not looking and wrecking Taxi’s in his spare time is somebody to respect, then they are dummer then I thought they were. Mind you, I expect Barton will think he is wonderful, two hooligans together, all they need to do now is bring Bellamy, Bowyer and Dyer back and they will have a full house of thugs.

My bet is that Keegan will not be at Newcastle next season, especially as they will be in The Championship!

A real puzzler this. Wise was doing well and was his own boss so to speak at Leeds. Now he's Keegan's b!tch at Newcastle. Yes, Leeds had/have problems, but can Wise really see this as progress, and do the Toon army see this as a real big step in the right direction?

Hes maybe had the tip from his best mate Batesy that theres bugger all left to plunder so the club`ll be closing down.

Director of football- surely the biggest non-job (outside the govt. obviously) ever invented.

That's a f*cking scary picture. A man married to a woman who looks like a schoolboy. Discuss.

Gary McAllister is the new manager. Any thoughts Leeds fans?

Quality player, a genius on the pitch.

Unfortunately that does not a manager make.
Another case of wait and see-although i`m more confident than in some of the names touted.

As Alfie Haaland will doubtless testify your manager is a pargon of virtue who never went in late, or from behind, or studs first, or knee high. Yes wise had his moments on and off the pitch and I never rated him as a player but me thinks pot calling kettle here Capt.

Off Topic Best of luck against Brum tonight. The mighty Stanley are away at Darlo, Hope the Stanley hordes :PDT_Xtremez_42: didn't delay Brum fans to much in their travels Off Topic

i think gary mac is ok for a stop gap as manager but i reckon if they miss out on promotion they might look for someone with a bit more experience at the end of the season :PDT_Xtremez_35:

But Keane wasn't a horrible little thug sh1te like Wise was off the pitch as well. I'm sure he'll get on well with Joey Barton, both a pair of despicable midget hoodlums.

Well Leeds lost 1 - 0 to the mighty Southend :PDT_Xtremez_42: and Wise was at The Emirates Stadium to inspire his new team to a 3 - 0 defeat... So in the very short term every fecker loses...

I liked Gary Mc as a player...as somebody already mentioned he was a clever bloke on the pitch but I've heard nothing about his managerial skills...

First off he should use his shopping skills to but another striker who can partner Beckford ffs...

Yes Tb I don't deny that Keano had his moments and as I have said before, I do believe he should have got at least a 2 year ban for what he did to Haaland. And he was out of order with Mick McCarthy and deserved to get sent home from the World Cup.

However, a solid win against the Brummies and our new striker Rade Prica looks at good buy at £2M. He should have had a second goal but for a shocking decision by the ref to disallow it. Still, hope rises eternal, just a simple game at Anfield next – live on sultana on Saturday night. I’m going for 1-1 draw.
