Thats it for now as you can see abit messed up this week but I should now be able to get back on track, or at least i will give it my best shot.

Till next time

money raised so far

money raised so far

Hello all

Here is an update on how much money has been raised so far.

£855 donated at www.justgiving.com/jasonharwood

£500 - £600 in donations from the section and other sources. So about £1400 so far but we still have a long way to go towards out target of £3500.

Please keep the donations coming they all go to a very worthy cause which is both personal to myself and dedicated to helping fund research for a potential cure.

Thank you to all who have donated so far. We have also had help from Michelin who are going to provide tyres and inner tubes, also Endura who are giving us 50% off all their cycle clothing.

Cheers

Update

Hello All

The fund raising is going well so i thought it was about time for an update. We have £1500 so far in donations but with a possible further £2000 (awaiting conformation on that one).

Michelin have sent us £300 worth of tyres and inner tubes as well as some stickers for the van and 2 big plastic michelin men.

Endura have also given us a 50% discount on all their products.

So as you can see all is going well and we also have some more sponsorship forms out there with friends and family as well as having an article printed in Marham Matters (station magazine).

Thats it for now i will give another update near our time of departure.

Hi all

This is it till after the ride. All is going well on the fund raising side we have raised £5000 so far so have exceeded our target of £3500, also we have been featured in our local newspaper. The prep is coming along and we are about to start buying our supplies(possible help from tesco but waiting conformation on that). I have had a mechanical failure on my left gear shifter which is something i could have really done without as the website i have ordered the replacements from are really dragging their heels, but fingers crossed they will hopefully arrive soon.

i would like to thank all the people who have helped raise our money and all those who have supported us over the last year. i will post some photos and a write up once we have finished so until then ta ta.

it ended well

it ended well

Sorry for the lateness of this post but it has been busy busy busy. We finished our ride in the alloted time at 1700 on 1st september. We covered 331 miles over the 3 days and did it in 22 hrs riding time (not bad going ). We have managed to raise £6000 for the Lowe Syndrome Trust but am still trying to collect from the stragglers. I would like to thank all who have donated as it means so much to my wife and i.

In May/June 2011 we are hoping to complete John o'groats to Lands End in 9/10 days with a target of £10'000.

The just giving website closes in february so if anyone would like to donate they are still able to do so.

Once again from me and my wife a big thank you to all who helped make this all possible.
