Airman Chip Hats...

  • Following weeks of work, the E-GOAT team are delighted to present to you a new look to the forums with plenty of new features. Take a look around and see what you think!
Don't wear one myself, but think they look okay, just too tight to buy one.

However I do find they confuse matters from a distance...Officers/SWO's should wear an SD hat so you can spot them a mile off and avoid them, the good guys in berets so we know that we can cross their path no problem.

Although I did pass a Groupie in no 2's the other day wearing a beret - confused the life out of me! It was probably very telling that he was also wearing such an inane grin.

Cheers everyone, I still definitely want to get one. Whether I wear it now or later in my career it's still something I want to own. Have been looking into the tailors at Halton, the place is terrible! It's never flipping open! Been down there five times now and it's abandoned for tea breaks or something! How do they do business... Any other good tailors anyone can recommend?

Marham's Tailor is great and quite reasonable if that helps.......but if you're close to High Wycombe, I found him to be OK too.
