RIP Friend, Job Done!

Thoughts go out to family and friends left behind.

Keep safe all you still out there and pray C-RAM does its job well.

All thoughts and prayers to the familly who have lost a husband and father, how many more before common sense prevails.

Top fella Baz,

Worked with him for a few months on TCW in 99. Lovely guy who will be missed! RIP fella! My thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.

Baz Barwood

Baz Barwood

I only knew Baz through 903 but as SNECs on ESS had dealings on common matters (as our sections worked closely together). The whole of ESS is gutted.

All the guys and I from VAHS send our deepest sympathies to Baz's family. Their loss must be inmeasurable. RIP mate.

Totally gutted I worked with Baz in Basra last year when I worked in MTMS he was a top bloke and nice chap, sad sad loss to the MT trade and to the RAF.

B0llocks,
It's always that bit worse when you know the guy personally.
Baz was a decent sort and RAF through and through.

Thoughts with his family and the guys in ASMT.

RIP mate.

Hi all

I totally agree with dantra's comments, I have known Baz for the last three years not only working with him (sort off), also “trying” to do the first response with him.

Totally dedicated to the air force and and a bloke that will be missed – I am truly shocked to here of the loss and my thoughts go to his family.

Like all the servicemen of 903EAW, last night was awful.

I will pay my respects when the MOD release personnel details.

Just found out the news mate, as a recent member of 903 and being as I had dealings with the guy as you do with members of other sections, I am in total shock and can not imagine what it must be like for you guys out there. So I let everyone out there know that you guys are in the thoughts of us who have done our stint, keep safe mate.

Never knew Sgt Barwood myself, but by all accounts he was a great guy.

No words can express the feelings your family, friends and collegues will be feeling...

all I can say is rest in peace. I'll be raising a glass in your direction tonight.:PDT_Xtremez_21:

Prince Harry said on tonights ITN News that 'he was no hero' and for once I totally agree.

The real heroes are the ones that come home injured or make the ultimate sacifice.

RIP.
