My thoughts are not only with Baz's family, but all you guys and girls on 903 and 904 in Afghanistan. Keep safe and come home to us.

Just found out the news mate, as a recent member of 903 and being as I had dealings with the guy as you do with members of other sections, I am in total shock and can not imagine what it must be like for you guys out there. So I let everyone out there know that you guys are in the thoughts of us who have done our stint, keep safe mate.

Thanks Shane, the last two week haven't been particulary good.

I'm so sorry Baz. What a horrific loss, as you all are. My best wishes go to Sharon & family. Sleep well fella. Gutting. Will always remember........

Baz, I'm sure you put as much into the day job as you put into the responding.

We had a good shift together in the car - you're turn to buy the coffees next time, I'm sure you'll have it waiting for me when we meet again.

Sleep easy.

From a fellow MTD (1984 - 2007)

Baz, we met briefly on several occasions and you were a top guy who i was proud to be associated with, by trade and as a person.

Condolences to your family.

Goodbye friend.

Don't submit on here often but can't let you go without saying goodbye.

Had the honour and privilege of meeting Baz on multiple occasions around BZZ. Can't think about all of the things I heard about him without smiling, I am sure that is true of many who knew him or of him.

He will be sorely missed by all and my thoughts are with his family.

Another sad loss. My thoughts go out to his wife Sharon and two daughters, Leanna and Rebecca. Just remember he's still looking after you. RIP.

A sad day for the RAF, for the trade and most of all for Baz's family. I worked with Baz on TCW in 96 - 98 then again when I returned in 2003. A fantastic bloke, unique. My heartfelt condolences go to his family. He will be sorely missed.

RIP Baz.

My deepest condolences to his family and freinds, I never knew Baz personally but from reading through the thread it seems we've lost a fantastic character.....RIP.
