This is true. Roverboy, What colour is the hood and interior?

Thanks everyone, I've really appreciated all your views and I think my mind is made up already. At present, the body is a yucky dark blue with matching interior and the hood is a light grey. As the car is completely stripped out at present, I intend replacing the entire interior with something to match the body colour. The only problem will be the hood, but I think I can get another one.

Originally I thought Cream (to contrast with the shiney red engine) but then I was drawn to the Red or BRG. Thanks Sospan for the arty cleverness, I think I'm going to go with your colour scheme, even though it's common. It just looks so right.

THat's a bit optomistic!! Actually, it shouldn't take too long to get it back together. The chassis, gearbox, engine & running gear are all done, it's just the body to do now and as it's a kit car, it's all nuts & bolts.

Just please dont be chav and paint you car Silver. I HATE that colour as just about every other car on the road is that colour. Urgh.

I like the idea of either Black or british racing Green for a colour for your car. Itll look nice and stand out more!

The only colour...

The only colour...

BLACK. BLACK. BLACK.

Black interior. Black hood. Black paint.

Tint the windows as well.

Manic depression is a great aid to colour choices.:PDT_Xtremez_09:

BRG but it is very car dependent ie what sort of car is it nice piccie but whats the heritage /country of origin?

How about the blue colour that it had when it was parked at the side of the football pitch back in the 70s........it is a 3 wheeler isn't it?

As promised, here are some pics:

As I bought it (a wreck)

The Chassis after removing the body

The Chassis and Engine as it is now

The Body as it is now

The body should be ready for painting in a week or so, but then the fun begins when I try to get the box of bits to go back together in the right order!!

Yep, booked a painter mate to paint it BRG so I've got a bit of work to do over the next week. The interior won't be a problem to change to tan, but the hood maybe a bit harder to source. Still, I'm in no hurry.

I could spray the roof tan for you right now. Got a pretty bad dose of "stones" induced sh1ts.

Still it would match the engine, Feckin marina still don't believe that:PDT_Xtremez_35:

Here's the colour you voted for peeps, thanks - I think it'll really suit. I've just got to work out where all the nuts & bolts go now:PDT_Xtremez_21:
