My own thoughts on this are that it seems a rather expensive way to give a couple of quid to charity. If it was something useful like a penknife, cufflinks, trolly token or a bottle opener maybe it would be tempting but for something that at best will live in the sock drawer and never see daylight or at worst simply get binned by the Mrs after a couple of years of getting shoved around from drawer to cupboard to glovebox or lost when moving house, seems a bit pointless I'm afraid.

No worries, as has been said before some people will like something that others don't, human nature.

It seems most don't want anything going to charity from the coins, it worked very well over in ARRSE and helped send a lot of families of the wounded and fallen on much needed holidays with Holidays 4 Heroes, we are continuing to support them as is our choice by the other coins as well.

Some members have shown an interest in an E-Goat coin, I think like TW mentioned it would be best to run a limited number of 200.

by my best guestimate that would leave you with about 190 to sell after the egoat membership have bought theirs. Our own experiences show that not every expression of intent to purchase turns into an actual sale.

Perhaps I am tad cynical but 200 is wildly optimistic.

Quite possibly Gemarriot. It may require a final Poll once the design is finished to get an idea of numbers who are interested, which is always the problem with a product like ours, unlike a product site like CafePress where you simply add your High Res designs to a host of products, the beauty of which, even if someone buys 1 sticker with one design and a Polo shirt with a different design they simply produce each product with the requested design on without the need to hold any stock.

Thanks to all those who have Pre-Ordered, as we said, we are producing a Limited number of 100 Coins, you can still Pre-Order and guarantee your E-Goat Challenge Coin by visiting the E-Goat Coin Page here:

E-Goat Pre-Order Page

The DIE, which takes a few days to get all the fine detail in, is now completed and production of the coins is well on the way, I will post a picture here of a completed coin very soon. We have managed a very high quality in detail for the E-Goat coin, the DIE is obviously quite large in order to get the very best detail transferred down to the 40mm coin.

Update to follow soonest.

Orders will be posted out in order of Pre-orders made.

How spooky is that? As I logged into the site today I thought about how long the pre-order period on my coin was. Not something I had thought about before.

I am off to play the lottery now.

The Coins have been produced and are ready to be posted out to everyone who ordered, I will put a picture of the Front and Back here today, they are quite impressive.

Here are a few photos/Scans of the finished Challenge Coins, out of all the coins we have produced to date the E-Goat Coin could well be the Best in look and Quality so far...

Those who Pre-Ordered will have their coins posted out in the morning, there are still plenty of the Limited 100 Coins to be purchased, which you can now do and have your coin in the post within a day, we agreed with Wobbly etc. that 2 GBP from every coin sale will go into the E-Goat Charity Pot.

Some of the pics have UKCC on the Scroll on the rear, this is just the one Coin saved back for UK Challenge Coins for the Website.

Challenge Coin

Thought I'd give this a bit of a bump....

And remind everyone that's going to the goat gathering to make sure they have theirs with them!

Just bought mine, I can't wait for the postie!

Mine arrived and I was impressed with the quality.
What's these "Veterans" coins then ?

I'm guessing that they'll be for veterans?:PDT_Xtremez_42:

I suppose they go alongside the veterans badge, so in effect anyone who has ever served in a military uniform is entitled. Can't remember the qualifying period, but it is something ludicrously short like 3 days service!
