Good question, and not one we have really had to consider yet.
I would guess that it will be a mix of instinct, past history, if anybody knows the said goater and most importantly how much beer they bribe the mods with.

I'm sure a few requests to attend will come under scrutiny from the organisers/mods, and we will deal with each case individually as we see fit.

Only kidding mate.

The decisions will be made on quality posters meaning people who actually add to the overall well being and popularity of the site.

We now have about 400-500 people logging in daily so it's going to be a hard call but as there is not much response to the idea it doesn't look good to be honest.

I'd love to attend but I shall have to decline again this year, same reasons as last year.

Any chance of having more than one meet up a year?

I have a venue booked near Swindon

Date : 02 August 08.

Venue : Near Lyneham

Midnight bar extension

Disco

Drinking Games and laughs

Buffet

Maybe twofers depending on numbers

The only problem would be accomodation. No doubt serving personnel would have the opportunity to book into messes and such like but Civilian personnel would have to book B&B which I could generate a list of B&B's in the local area.

The bash would be ran on a ticket affair and price would depend on the numbers that want to attend.

So if your definately interested then please bang your name on here. Obviously the venue will not be broadcast publically and tickets and location will only be sent to paid up members.

More details to follow.
 
Not sure I'd want to stay in the mess anyway but on another note; Can we take it that the venue will be off-station to accomodate ex serving members?
A B&B list with distances from the venue and prices would be most welcome. Can you put the B&B's in pubs at the top of the list please?

On yet another note, will the rugby shirts we delivered by then?

Yes mate the venue is off camp hence the reason why we're trying to ensure that security is also taking into account.

There are lots of local B&B's within 2-4 miles from the venue.
