I did. Cost me £91...................! :PDT_Xtremez_42:

80 ltr tank. Warning light to full.

I know, it's bloomin crackers! :PDT_Xtremez_42: However I noted yesterday that prices are dropping (well, up here in sunny Elgin anyway) - Tescos unleaded is now at 115p a litre whereas last week it was about 120/121p.

I avoid having a heart attack each time at the pumps by only putting a max of 30 quid in. Sadly at 120p a litre for diesel it doesnt go as far as it should :PDT_Xtremez_25:

Up 10 pence then down 5 pence and we all sigh with relief.

Big Con!!

95 pence a litre paralized the country in 2000.

11 year old Diesel V70 - £68 from Light to full - but 800 miles to next Light.

Who says old is ugly?

Last nights receipt reads £1.219 in Bridgend. Still, it gets me here and back on £40 :S

Filled up at a cost of £1.21.9 on Friday in Oakham. Saw petrol in Grantham for £1.13.9.
Went past where I filled up later on Friday and it had dropped by 2p. :PDT_Xtremez_25:

The prices are annoying when you take into consideration the slide in price per barrel...The oil companies pass off the continued high prices due to high development costs for searching out increasingly difficult to reach oil reserves...the arabs can just alter the oil tap as they see fit to keep prices up whilst satisfying world demand...

Where are the fuel protesters now? The oil companies are taking the p1ss. What would they do if crude was to double in price now?

113.9p at litre at ASDA in elgin, only costs me £12 to fill my tank. Then I do ride a 20yo 600cc motorbike and it still spanks loads or new modern cars:PDT_Xtremez_30:

Takes the mickey

Takes the mickey

£63 for 600 miles in my motor, thank god I changed to diesel, have started to drive with economy in mind when I commute, it was getting to work too early anyway and regularly see 60mpg on the clock. In fact setting the display to MPG is quite a motivator. Although when I'm doing a road trip I tend to tank it, although being a diesel I'm still getting over 40mpg.

Crude prices have recovered some since their massive drop but the main reason for high prices at the moment are taxes and the value of the pound against the dollar.

£124.21 from red to full ! and bloody duty mileage allowance has gone down WTF that all about?

Taxes don't move with the market (apart from being a percentage), the oil companies are still taking the p1ss. One retailer said last week that the prices are as high as they are because they will price to what the market will stand. Cnuts!
